Nike Air Max 270, the design of which was led by Dylan Raasch, is a hybrid inspired by 2 models: Nike Air Max 180 and Nike Air Max 93. The choice of these 2 maxs does not seem to be accidental. Air Max 270 can be defined as the continuation of the Air Max 180, in which the gas cushion was visible in 180 degrees. Here, however, this range has been expanded to 270 degrees. When it comes to inspiration with Air Max 93 shoes, we can notice some details borrowed from this model. These include upper, which took the form of a sock, or the shape of the reinforcement in the front of the shoe. One might wonder why Air Max 93 was chosen. The reason is simple and obvious. Nike Air Max 93 in 2018 celebrates its 25th anniversary! Let’s get back to the heart of the matter – the Nike Air Max 270 sneakers. From the very beginning, the Air Max family was created as running shoes, but soon found a place on city streets and is now more associated with streetwear than with treadmill. The Air Max 270 promises a new chapter in the history of popular max’s – they were designed right away for the lifestyle. They also have the largest air cushion so far, as we have already mentioned – visible in 270 degrees! The seamless, woven upper has taken the form of a sock covering the foot, with asymmetrical lacing. Generally, the idea was that the new silhouette would be as light, airy and comfortable as possible. As we have already mentioned, Nike Air Max 270 was designed by one of the most recognizable designers of the brand – Dylan Raasch.
